The band wound up their tour with a show in San Francisco's Slim's Club on October 9. Little Cow played altogether 30 concerts in 23 cities on the tour of the United States and Canada.
Little Cow - or Kistehén zenekar for Hungarian fans - kicked off the tour in Bowling Green, Ohio. There locals took such a liking to the band that they invited them back for a performance a month later. Little Cow and front man Laci Kollár-Klemencz played to a full house.
In Chicago, the band played three gigs over two days. One of the performances was at the Hideout Rock Party, an important indie music festival.
In New York, the band played an intimate gig at Joe's Pub, where patrons started dancing on the table after the third number, overcome by Little Cow's infectious rhythm.
Director of the Hungarian Institute in New York László Jakab Orsós, who was instrumental in organising the gig, said the band's reception was "entirely successful".
Though tired from travelling and performing, Little Cow gave two memorable performances at the Lotus World Music and Arts Festival in Bloomington, Indiana. The festival director even allowed the band to play longer than their allotted time slot - something never done before - after dancing for the length of the show.
Little Cow plans to return to the United States for a longer tour in June. The band also has an invitation to play at the Montreal Jazz Festival.
Kollár-Klemencz kept a blog of the tour under the pen name László Matyiö. Footage of the tour shot by the film director Tamás Tóth can also be seen online.
Little Cow will play several concerts in Hungary in November, and it will play gigs elsewhere in Europe in December and January.
Little Cow will play from their latest album, Ember a fán, released in September, at a special concert at the Katona József Theatre on December 18.
