Magyar First Hungarian to Perform With Royal Shakespeare Company

English

The production of Romeo and Juliet will have been performed more than 40 times by the end of January. After touring the UK, it has returned to Stratford-upon-Avon.

Magyar, who is both an actress and a choreographer, has been invited to perform with some of the UK's most prominent theatre companies over the past several years. In 2005, she played the lead in Tristan and Iseult at the Kneehigh Theatre. And in 2007, she performed in The Sexual Neuroses of Our Parents at the Gate Theatre in London.

Magyar also heads Budapest's Sámán Theatre, which she founded.
