The issue of the block coincides with the 4th Esztergom Liszt Week, said Magyar Posta philatelist director Gábor Péterffy.
The block features portraits of the composer framed by some of his most important compositions. The basilica of Esztergom can also be seen in the block. Liszt composed the ?Esztergom Mass? for the consecration of the church on August 31, 1856.
The blocks, which are the work of the graphic artist György Kara, can be purchased at some Magyar Posta offices from August 19 as well as at the site of the Esztergom Liszt Week from August 21.
The Serbian Post earlier issued block of stamps commemorating the Liszt bicentennial during an official visit by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
