The troupe was part of a parade, several kilometers long, of representatives from 23 European Union countries at the Shanghai World Expo on May 9. After the parade, the troupe performed in the Hungarian pavilion at the expo.
Two days later, the troupe travelled to Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang Province, a sister of Baranya County, of which Pécs is the county seat. There they performed again their repertoire of folk dances from the Carpathian Basin
