(MTI) - The company has informed the national consumer protection authority OFE that every dissatisfied consumer will be compensated, said Gabor Szep.
The company's legal representative Laszlo Hegedus told MTI that they would sue the production's copyright holder in Germany. The show presented in Hungary was indeed different from that advertised, but this was because Juke Box had been misled by the German concert organiser, he said.
Three shows were held in Hungary, the first one in Szeged on Friday, followed by two in Budapest on Saturday and Sunday.
The show was advertised as featuring musicians, vocalists and dancers who had previously worked with Jackson, but many upset fans complained that the production, including the stage design, the lighting and the imitator's performance, were unacceptably below standard.
The Budapest Police said on its homepage that an investigation had started for alleged fraud in connection with the show but Hegedus said Juke Box had not yet been contacted by police and the company denies any wrongdoing.
