The position of cultural institutions in Subcarpathia is "catastrophic" in terms of material and technical supplies, Kuliniak said. Some are no more than "ruins", he added.
Planned renovations of some of the most important cultural institutions in the region have gone nowhere, Kuliniak said. Building materials, as well pieces from museum collections, have been stolen, he added.
