Ministry to spend 2.6 bn forints on culture development projects

(MTI) - 730 million forints will be used to promote folk arts and preserve the culture of smaller regions, Istvan Hiller said at a ceremony marking the Day of Hungarian Culture.
    470 million will be donated to regional museums and archives, while 220 million forints has been budgeted for the digitalisation of library stocks, he said.
    The minister added that a separate fund would be set up to help the preservation of collections and archives owned by religious organisations.
