The MODEM will show the Redon painting behind a specially made security glass in the exhibition.
Messiahs, or Western Man and the Idea of Salvation, will include works from nearly a hundred museums and other collections, among them pieces by Picasso, Bacon, Chagall, Warhol, Redon, Dali, Munch, Serrano, Munkácsy, Csontváry, Gulácsy, Vajda and Reigl. It will be insured for some HUF 100 billion.
The exhibition will run from August 13 until December 31.
