Time jewellery by Krisztina Németh
Most of the objects needed more than just a single glance to process, although there were some whose beauty was communicated almost instantly. Among the later were ?time jewellery?, the work of Krisztina Németh, which won the Special Prize Awarded by the State Secretariat for Education of the Ministry of National Resources, or a collection that features reindeer and inlaid stone by Anett Hajdú, Teréz Havancsák, Adél Kovács and Szandra  Hofstädter. But most of the work required a closer look and offered an enjoyable adventure into contemporary design.

A few of the pieces in the warehouse-like surroundings stood out, such as a spiral generator designed by András Gőczey and Bence Benedek or a showerhead that gauges water use designed by Renáta Gőgh and Viktor Horváth.

A garden container designed by Sára Bericza, a series of posters by Pál Antal, an outfit that allows rescue equipment to be worn on the body by Ágost Detre Mayer and Ákos Cseri and a collection of jewellery that double as pillboxes by Béla Rózsa were among the most exciting objects in the show.

A mood lamp by Péter Toronyi that gives the impression of an eclipse was extraordinary. Other innovations were András Huszár?s relaxation cabin and Judi Ducsai?s felt bags. A book of verse designed by Éva Somogyi and instructional posters by Anna Farkas were smartly and sensitively made with poetic elegance.

Electrolux Shine Project Washing Machine

A small washing machine designed by a team from Electrolux and a refillable sandbag weight for training were exactly made, but I failed to see in them the same inspiration as in other objects in the show.
