National Philharmonic to Play in Geneva

The concert, to take place at Geneva?s Grand Casino, will be conducted by Zoltán Kocsis. It will start with Beethoven?s Overture to Leonora no. 3, which will be followed by three works by Bartók: the Piano Concerto I, the Dance Suite and the Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra. The soloists will be Dezső Ránki and Edit Klukon.

Geneva?s Béla Bartók Square was dedicated on October 29, 2006 at a concert conducted by Yehudi Menuhin, his last. The solo pianist at the concert was Zoltán Kocsis.
