Al of the contestants were required to recite a poem by Kazinczy and by Attila József, but could read a third one of their own choosing. Among the authors read were Sándor Petőfi, Endre Ady, Dezső Kosztolányi, Miklós Radnóti, Sándor Weöres, Árpád Tőzsér and Dezső Monoszlóy.
The winner of the contest was Rupam Priyam. The runner-up was Yogesh Govil.
