Contenders from 70 countries entered their two-minute short productions, which they were obliged to produce on a given topic within 24 hours using any technique, he said.
The theme this year was blood donation and the international jury picked the two titles New York Blood and Yes It Is Possible out of 16 finalists as winners of the 5,000 dollars prize on Sunday night, Gabor Kindl said. The two presidents of the jury included Hungarian and Czech Oscar winning directors Istvan Szabo and Jiri Menzel.
All productions will be posted on the competition's web site http://www.shoot4life.tv/hun in the coming days, said Kindl.
