"The spirit of an English rhyme is truly reproduced if one creates a real Hungarian poem rather than just copy the original," Lajos Mann, translator of the collection, told MTI. The volume was illustrated by Csilla Koszeghy.
The first compilation of English nursery rhymes translated into Hungarian was published in 1979 and became immensely popular.
