The Octopus project site at the Sziget Festival

The Octopus will host literary events each afternoon between 5pm and 7pm. Guests include the Hungarian writers Ádám Nádasdy, László Márton, and György Dragomán as well as Cristopher Whyte from Scotland, the German Wilhelm Droste and the American Olen Steinhauer.

 
For the first time, Octopus will feature a "museum quarter", with the participation of the Museum of Fine Arts, MODEM, the Ludwig Museum, the Museum of Applied Arts, Aquincum, Skanzen, the Museum of Transportation, the National Engineering Museum, the Hungarian National Gallery and the Hungarian National Museum. The museums will offer festival-goers who show their bracelets half off admission during the festival.
