Örkény Theatre Invited to Sibiu

The Örkény Theatre is the first Hungarian troupe invited to the festival in many years. It will perform the piece, in a new translation by Annamária Radnai and directed by Yuri Kornonsky, on June 7.

 
Other performances on the festival programme are the play Salt, directed by Eugenio Barba and performed by Denmark's Odin Theatre from Denmark; And the Rat Laughed, directed by Oded Kotler and performed by the Cameri Theatre of Tel Aviv; and Don Juan, performed by the theatre of Ploiesti directed by László Bocsárdi. The National Theatre of Sibiu will perform Lulu, Waiting for Godot and Faust, directed by Silviu Purcarete, as well as Life with an Idiot, directed by Andryi Zholdak.
