The singer Orsi Kozma will start the programme with a concert of ballads as well as songs from her soon to be released jazz album. Kozma will share the stage with her former band mate from Jazz+Az Eszter Váczi and the pianist Gábor Cseke.
Kozma started her career in the Hungarian Radio Children's Choir. She attended the Mária Toldy music studio and sang in musicals such as It Happened in Europe, Fame and The Jungle Book. Kozma has sung with Jazz+Az and the Cotton Club Singers, and she launched her solo career in 2007.
The next concert in the Hey June series, on June 14, will feature the folk band M.É.Z., who are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. Though M.É.Z. started off playing just Irish and Scottish folk, the band's repertoire has grown to include many other genres.
