Csobán's Channel Bank was named the best painting in the exhibition by visitors who cast their votes.
The runner-up was Dániel László, whose Still Life, earned him a prize from the Csongrád County Council.
The exhibition, which opened in May, attracted more than 6,300 visitors, of whom 1,300 cast votes for the best works, said Szeged deputy mayor László Solymos.
About 400 works were submitted for display at the biennale. A professional jury selected 150 of them for the exhibition, which closed July 13.
