Young last performed in Budapest as the opening act for Genesis on June 18, 1987.

?I remember the day well, because one of my front teeth fell out right before the show, requiring immediate medical intervention?.I left for Vienna from Budapest with a hydrofoil,? Young said.

"Paul's unmistakable soulful voice has made him one of the most respected British singers of all time. Hits include 'Love Of The common People', 'Every Time You Go Away', Come Back and Stay', 'Senza Una Donna' and the number one 'Wherever I Lay My Hat'," the Here and Now organisers say.

Young recalled that the decision to sing ?Every Time You Go Away? was a last minute one. The song was one of two Hall & Oates numbers his publisher had sent him. He chose to cover ?I?m Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down?, but when the track was laid, it became clear that something else was needed to make the album more pop-like in the vein of No Parlez.

Young said he preferred to sing covers, such as Joy Division?s ?Love Will Tear Us Apart?, rather than his own songs.

?I thought [songwriting] doesn?t really work for me, that?s why I liked to sing the songs of others,? Young said. ?Today, I enjoy songwriting much more, and now and then I sing covers,? he added.

Young will appear on stage with Kim Wilde, Boy George, Rick Astley and Nik Kershaw in Budapest on October 2.
