Pécs Artists Show in Brussels

The exhibition, called Kaleidoscope - Pécs2010, was opened by Ministry of Education and Culture state secretary Ferenc Csák and director of the cultural institute Krisztina Reményi. The pianist Dániel Szabó, who was born in Pécs, performed at the opening.

 
The works by Barna Benedek, András Ernszt, Ferenc Ficzek, Tibor Gyenis, Ferenc Lantos, Barna Leitner, Péter Lengyel, Zoltán Makra, Gábor Miklya, András Pinczehelyi, Sándor Pinczehelyi, Péter Somody, Zsuzsa Tóth and Rita Varga will be on display in Brussels until February 18. They will then travel to the Galerie du Beffroi in Namur where they will be shown together with photographs by Lajos Kalmár between March 4 and 28. After that, the exhibition will return to Brussels and go on display in the European Parliament.
 
Hungarian culture institutes are hosting a series of shows and events that centre on Pécs this year.
