Cultural director for the Pécs2010 programme Tamás Szalay spoke about the city's programme at the Frankfurt Book Fair, which closed on Sunday. Among the Hungarian authors to speak at the fair was László Márton, who presented the German translation of his novel Minerva's Hiding Place (A Minerva búvóhelye).
Pécs hosted about 20 travel agents from Kiev and the surrounding region to show them what the city has to offer in 2010. In addition to events, the travel agents were shown investments that are part of the 2010 programme, such as the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter and the Pécs Conference and Concert Centre. The travel agents were impressed with the city's museums and the Cella Septichora Visitor's Centre too.
