Pécs Cantat, part of the Pécs2010 European Capital of Culture Programme, is being orgainsed by the Pécs Culture Centre in cooperation with the University of Pécs and the Central and Eastern European chapter of Europa Cantat. The festival is expected to draw more than a thousand participants.
The students from Pécs will sing folk music from the Carpathian Basin at Europa Cantat.
