A Pécs2010 information point set up on the city of Szeged?s busy Széchenyi Square drew about 8,000 curious people alone in the month of July. About a third were foreigners. The information point?s opening hours were extended to meet bigger-than-expected demand.
Promotional items, such as mugs, T-shirts, bags and Zsolnay porcelain pins, proved popular at the information points.
