The concert is part of the institute's French Talent series.
Chaplin has played solo concerts at many of the world's most famous concert halls, in Tokyo, Berlin, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Paris. He also performs with orchestras and is a regular on the festival circuit.
After winning the Senigallia competition, Chaplin went on to earn the Mozart and Robert Casadesus awards in Cleveland. His recording of Debussy's complete works, released by Vérany, was critically acclaimed.
