The aim is for travellers to immerse themselves in between stops, said exhibition organiser Csilla E. Csorba, who is director of the Petőfi Literary Museum. The poems might also inspire a spark of creativity, she added.
The exhibition is a joint effort of the Petőfi Literary Museum, the Szabó Ervin Municipal Library, advertising broker Promix and Alexandra Publishing House, which owns the rights to Faludy?s books.
The 17 different posters are expected to be seen by more than a hundred thousand travellers a day. All of the posters can be seen together at the Millennium Underground Museum in Deák Square until July 14.
The Petőfi Literary Museum opened an exhibition on Faludy called Read, Wander, Love in May.
