The posters are the best from a contest called by the Hungarian Poster Society, the Polish Institute in Budapest and the Hungarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Polish composer Chopin in 2010 and the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Hungarian composer Liszt in 2011.
The winning poster was from the Hungarian graphic artist Ferenc Baráth. The runner-up was Ryszard Kajzer, a teacher at the applied graphics department of the Warsaw Art Academy, and the young Hungarian graphic artists Krisztián Gál was in third place.
The posters can be seen until September 17. They will go on display at the Hungarian Institute in Warsaw from December 13. The show will travel to Krakow in 2011.
