Museum director Tamás Szabó said among the offers from private collectors were ones for works of which the authenticity could not be determined as well as works that were of such value that the owners decided against lending them in the end. From the Tőzsér collection in Szentendre came two fantastic sculptures that Vasarely presented to Hungary's former ambassador to Hungary in 1971. From a collector in Szeged came five extraordinarily colourful sculptures of aluminium and plexiglass from the Tridium series. The Radó Antal Library in Mór lent nine original, numbered prints.
Private individuals also lent works, among them prints with an EA designation for Epreuve d'Artiste, or artist's copy, which is far more valuable than a numbered print.
