The tour will start in Szombathely on December 3, said organiser Zsolt Magony. It will continue with concerts in the Hungarian cities of Sopron, Győr, Kaposvár, Nagykanizsa and Budapest, he added.

Kincses will sing pieces rarely heard by Hungarian audiences in the past several years. One of her guests will be Zoltán Miller, sharing the stage with the soprano for the first time.

The concerts will feature selections from operas, operettas and musicals as well as Italian songs and popular hits.

Kincses and Miller will be joined by a surprise guest, a tenor known mainly for Italian numbers.

The tour will take Kincses to some of Europe?s biggest cities in March of next year.
Kincses is as comfortable singing musicals and popular songs as she is with opera, although she is best known as an opera singer. Her recording of La bohéme, singing Mimi opposite Luciano Pavarotti?s Rodolphe, is among the most popular of the opera.
