(MTI) - Press chief Viktoria Veto noted that the earlier capacity of the festival, organised across an area of 76 hectares on Obuda Island in the river Danube, rose from 65,000 to 70,000 this year.
The highlight of Thursday night's programme was an hour and a half concert by acid jazz-funk-soul band Jamiroquai.
Friday night will be a treat for heavy metal fans with an upcoming concert by Finnish group Apocalyptica.
