Reunited Faith No More Rocks Sziget

English

Mike Patton, Faith No More's singer, is a real genius with a fantastic voice and an unbelievable presence. The versatile frontman returned with Faith No More this spring for the band's first shows since their break-up in 1998.

The band played on a puritan stage with only a giant red curtain behind them. The curtain imitated the band's diverse style: as the musicians jumped from metal to grunge it became the backdrop for a smoky bar then a gladiators' arena.

Patton appeared on stage in a red suit, making himself the centre of attention with his antics, showing his fans he is capable of anything.

The band started their set, appropriately, with the Peaches & Herb cover Reunited, then followed up with such hits as Be Aggressive, Easy and Digging The Grave. Patton, perhaps forgetting that he was performing at an international music festival, kept addressing the Hungarians in the audiences, although their were fewer of them than, say, French.
