Russia Guest at Plein Art Festival

The Hungarian writer Endre Kukorelly and the literary critic and editor of Európa Publishing House Miklós M. Nagy will speak about contemporary Russian literature at a talk on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, Péter Rácz, who heads the Hungarian Translation House Foundation, will speak.

Two Russian artists, Nikolai Kopeikin and Olga Kisseleva will be shown at exhibitions in a couple of the many galleries that line Ráday Street.
 
Other artists whose work will be on display during the festival include the Armenian painter Sargisyan Ovnan and the Hungarians Péter Márkus, József Gaál and László Szotyory.
 
The festival will feature open-air concerts, art exhibitions, literary events and performances. A special display of banners will be hung high above Ráday Street.
 
On the musical lineup are the Alexander Trio, the Niki Vörös Quartet and Kuartonus.
