Pécs Mayor Zsolt Páva said the concert ? part of the city?s 2010 European Capital of Culture Programme -- was likely to be a big success, drawing as many as 10,000 people.
Tickets for the show, to be held at Pécs?s Expo Center, are selling for 7,500-12,000 forints.
Seal last played in Hungary in 2008, at Budapest?s Syma.
Other performers coming to the 2010 European Capital of Culture this year include DJ Krush, Tito and Tarantula, Goran Bregovic, Alexander Balanescu and the pianist Fazil Say. The Turkish dervish dancer Ziya Azazi and the Italian comic Ennio Marchetto are also on the programme.
