The Sex Pistols are the latest big act the festival's organisers have announced a booking for. Confirmations have also been announced for performances by Irish underground electronica diva Róisín Murphy of Moloko fame and the English guitar bank Kaiser Chiefs. It was also confirmed that a show by Iron Maiden will be opened by bassist Steve Harris's daughter Lauren Harris and her band.
Sziget Festival passes are available in advance for HUF 25,000 (or HUF 30,000 including camping), the same price as last year. Regular passes allow entry for all events during the five-day festival, but not for the Iron Maiden show, which will be on day 0. Separate day 0 passes may be purchased for HUF 8,000. Regular camping passes do, however, allow access to day 0 events.
