At the Sziget Festival, two mixes will be broadcast to the headphones: one by DJ OD and NO DJ, and the other by a guest DJ or a live band. Listeners will be able to choose which mix to listen to, and, of course, control the volume on their headphones. The guest artists will include a number of popular Hungarian acts.
The Silent Disco will feature a different style of music each day: the programme will include a Bigbeat-Breakbeat day, a Breakcore-Hardcore day, a Minimal-Techhouse day, an Electro-Techno day, a Hiphop beats ? Dub riddim day, an All styles ? All stars day and a Funk Soul Reggae day.
Silent Disco was started in 2002 by two Dutch DJs attached to 433fm.com: DJ OD (Michael Minten) and NO DJ (Nico Okkerse). The event?s success was affirmed when DJ great Fat Boy Slim signed up to guest DJ for a Silent Disco after seeing one at the Glastonbury Festival.
