Upon receiving the award, Szidi said she did not even have to ?play? the role, because it was so well written it was enough just to give herself over to the text.

The award for best male role went to Miroslav Noga, who played the farmer in the production.

The Hungarian Péter Polgár brought home two awards from the festival: one for the best stage design and the other for the best costumes for a production of Kitchen directed by Zoltán Balázs.
