The Uránia will show ?The House Under the Rocks?, ?Budapest Spring?, ?Drama of the Lark?, ?A Trip Around My Cranium?, ?Cyclists in Love? and ?Twenty Hours?.
Illés earlier assisted the Summer University of Cinema and was also the programme?s honorary rector.
Also on the programme will be three films from East Germany, shown to mark the 60th anniversary of the East German film studios DEFA. They are ?Das zweite Lebens des Friedrich Wilhelm Georg Platow?, ?Solo Sunny? and ?Levins Mühle?. Films without subtitles in Hungarian will be simultaneously translated at the screenings.
The Summer University of Cinema will also show 26 of the latest Hungarian feature films and documentaries. Screenings of ?Just Sex and Nothing Else?, ?Young Dumb and Full of Love?, ?Relatives? and ?Miraq? will be followed by question and answer sessions with the filmmakers.
People interested in learning about cinema and filmmaking as a profession can participate in special programmes on July 24 and 25.
