The Kobak Club offers members the chance to meet their favourite dancers, share secrets from behind the scenes and take part in Kobak Club events and dance classes. Already in January, the Club plans a "late" New Year's Eve party to be attended by troupe members. The event will also feature a raffle of props used by the troupe.
This year the Szeged Contemporary Ballet is celebrating its 20th anniversary by teaming up with the Szeged National Theatre and C-Mobil Kft. to raise money for the Szeged Children's Clinic. The troupe is donating part of the proceeds from its production of Swan Lake for children - raising HUF 600,000 so far - to buy infusion pumps for cancer patients at the clinic.
