The agreement was signed on Friday by Székesfehérvár mayor Timahér Warvasovszky and Changchun local council deputy chairman Li Fa-suo.
Changchun, population 3.5m, is the capital of the Jilin province. The city has a rich historical heritage and a powerful economy. An automotive industry county centre, the city also boasts an industry serving railways, a biopharmaceutical industry, a number of industrial parks and even a film studio. The city puts great emphasis on developing tourism, regularly organising automotive industry, agricultural and art exhibitions, plus winter and summer festivals.
Changchun has sister cities in Russia, Japan and Germany.
