Sziget Keeps Festival-Goers in Shape

Though swimming is strictly forbidden around the island, all other manners of sport are to be found on the Sziget's Sport Terrace, where, in addition to an array of team sports - football, rugby, streetball, beach volleyball, tennis, table tennis and badminton - visitors can participate in, they can have a bout with a boxing machine, take on an opponent in a match of table football, or, when they tire, enjoy the massage tent. Festival-goers can also try out new sports and equipment developed by Hungary's University of Sports Science.

The Sport Terrace is not the only place on the island festival-goers can work off the beers they drink. Next to the Sziget's "pain relief" tent, visitors can run through a course of giant inflatable obstacles, and every morning on the M2 terrace, visitors can do dance- or box- aerobics.
