Anyone interested is invited to register to dance on the Játékszín stage in any style they wish from 18:00 on February 22 until 18:00 the next day as part of DanceTogether.
"Everyone will be free to decide the extent to which they want to reveal themselves; that is, what dance they want to perform and how," theatre spokesperson Csilla Balogh said. "This day will be about being together, meeting people, experiencing joy, and dancing."
Dancers may perform solo, in pairs or in groups, to music of their own choosing or to that provided by the theatre. When one dancer or group of dancers finishes, they may invite another performer on stage.
DanceTogether has been organised as part of the Miskolc Dance Weekend series and is timed to coincide with the Miskolc Kocsonya Festival. The event is being hosted by choreographer Attila Kozma. Its patron is Miskolc National Theatre dance department leader and Harangozó Award winner György Krámer.
