In the lead role will be Róbert Koltai, who also starred in the film, said Szigligeti Theatre director János Szikora, announcing the 2006/2007 season. The stage adaptation will feature music specially written for the production by László Dés, who also composed the soundtrack for the film, he added.
After the production is performed in Szolnok, it will play at the József Attila Theatre in Budapest, also with Koltai in the lead.
The other highlight of the Szigligeti Theatre?s 2006/2007 season will be the world premiere of ?Before the Flood?, a play by the renowned Russian writers Oleg and Vladimir Presnakov written especially for the Szigligeti Theatre.
The Szigligeti Theatre will open the 2006/2007 season with Bertolt Brecht?s ?The Good Person of Szechuan?. Other productions on the programme include Gogol?s ?Auditor?, Jenő Huszka?s operetta ?Lieutenant Mary? and Ferenc Molnár?s play ?Delilah?, which will be directed by Péter Balázs and star Ildikó Bánsági.
