Thirty Features to Compete at 39th Hungarian Film Week

The jury for next year's festival will include the actress Maia Morgenstern, chief secretary of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) Klaus Eder, Hungarian film director Krisztina Goda, chair of the Hungarian Society of Cinematographers János Kende and the director István Márta, press chief György Naszály said.

 
Festival screenings will be held at the Millenáris Teátrum, Palace Mammut, Uránia and Bem cinemas. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held at the Millenáris Teátrum. Life Achievement Awards and the Master of Hungarian Moving Pictures award will be presented at the opening ceremony.
 
The festival's organisers have yet to decide whether to include a screening at the opening ceremony.
 
Next year's festival will have just one main award, though a new award for genre films has also been established.
