The festival, called If you want to understand the world?, will feature screenings of 24 films, including 16 Hungarian premieres.
Among the films on the programme are Waste Land, which follows the life of the Brazilian artist Vik Muniz for three years; Men Who Swim, driector Dylan Williams? look at Sweden?s all-male synchronised swimming team; Gunnar Goes Comfortable, which documents a journey of self-discovery to India on Super 8 film; and Last Train Home, director Lixin Fan?s look at Chinese migrant workers? travel home.
Panel discussions and concerts are also on the festival programme.
