In January, the Sarajevo Film Festival invited the participants of its Talent Campus programme last summer to submit treatments for shorts.

Ujj-Mészáros said he submitted the treatment for a short called Alena's Journey in February. The treatment was prepared with producers Csanád Darvas and Miklós Havas and the Bosnian actor Boris Ler. In the15-minute short, a young woman throws a farewell party before a trip abroad. In reality, the party is her send-off before going to hospital for cancer treatment.

In addition to the EUR 10,000 purse from the Sarajevo Film Festival, Ujj-Mászáros and his colleagues hope to win the support of the Hungarian Motion Picture Public Foundation. The short is slated to premiere at the Sarajevo Film Festival in August this year.
