English

The troupe will perform the comedy at 19:00 on January 31 for the Museum of Fine Arts Museum+ series, which pairs special events with current exhibitions on Thursday evenings. The performance will take place - fittingly - in the museum's Renaissance Hall.

Performers in the show are Balázs Lázár, Tímea Kecskés, Máté Járai, Dávid Sándor, and Kriszta Kováts. Music for the songs in the show was composed by Mátyás Várkonyi and lyrics were written by Péter Fábri. Set and costume design is by Andrea Ruttka.

Hungary recently launched its Renaissance Year celebrations with the opening of an exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts entitled The Splendour of the Medici - Art and Life in Renaissance Florence of the Medici - Art and Life in Renaissance Florence. The exhibition brings together some 200 works from 60 Italian collections. Among the artists represented are Donatello, Fra Angelico, Verocchio, Botticelli, Leonardo, Raffaello, Bronzino and Vasari. The works are insured for more than HUF 80 billion.

Several performances of the Kovátsműhely production will take place during the exhibition, which runs until May 18, 2008.
