Neymann was presented the Golden Benjamin prize, which comes with a EUR 10,000 purse.
At the River was also recognised as the best film at the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) and the International Federation of Film Societies (FICC), which presented its Don Quixote prize for the first time in Hungary. The film boasts a low-key, affectionate approach, presenting the slow but inescapable passing of time with fine brushstrokes, the critics said.

Reserve

The student jury prize went to the Polish director Lukasz Palkowski for his film Reserve. The jury appreciated the film's excellent characters, unique approach, good humour and fine dramaturgy, they said.

Upside Down
|
The Macedonian director Igor Ivanov received a special mention for his non-conformist sensibility in the film Upside Down.
The 4th Moveast International Film Festival showed 34 films from first-time directors from 14 countries. Twelve films were in the competition.
