Ukrainian filmmaker wins main prize at S Hungary int'l festival

Neymann, a graduate of the German Film and TV Academy of Berlin, was  awarded the festival's Golden Benjamin going with 10,000 euros for her first feature title about a day in the life of a mother and her daughter.

 
Neymann's film also received the award of the International Federation of Film Critics and the Don Quijote Award given for the first time in Hungary by the International Federation of Film Societies.
 
At the festival running from October 7 to 14, twelve first films by young directors were selected into the competition from among 34 titles nominated from 14 countries.
