Representatives of the architectural firm Mányi Stúdió and construction company Architekton accepted the award at a ceremony at the Palacio Real de El Pardo, near Madrid, on Tuesday.
At the award ceremony were Queen Sofia, the award?s Spanish patron, Prince Henrik of Denmark, the chairman of the award committee, and Ján Figel, European Commissioner responsible for Education, Training, Culture and Multilingualism.
