Vienna Gallery Showcases Hungarian Art

English

The exhibition, called Hungarica, seeks to show visitors the view ?from below?, from ?the individual life that cannot be represented in the news?, the gallery says.

Among the artists included in the show is Tibor Horváth, whose work contains radical messages, but is far from political extremism.

His work criticises with ?gentle..shameless humour?, using a ?compact visual language?.

The Corporation, a collaboration between János Borsos, Lilla Lörinc, Erik Mátrai, Gergely Papp and Gábor Szenteleki established in 2000, brings an installation that examines relations between Austrian and Hungary to the show.

Other artists in the show are László Karácsonyi, Miklós Mécs and Csaba Vándor.

The show?s curator is Zsuzska Kozák.
