Vígszínház to Premiere August: Osage County

The piece, which was premiered by Chicago's Steppenwolf Theater Company in 2007, paints a portrait of a dysfunctional American family while touching on themes such as drug abuse, aging, suicide, racism, incest and love.
 
The play closed at the Steppenwolf in August 2007. It debuted on Broadway, at the Imperial Theatre, in December 2007 and transferred to the Music Box Theatre in April 2008. The show made its UK Debut at London's National Theatre in November 2008.
 
The Vígszínház will show August: Osage County for the first time on March 7.
 
The cast includes Vera Pap, Péter Vallai, Éva Igó, Gábor Reviczky, Enikő Börcsök, József Gyabronka, Barbara Hegyi, Géza D. Hegedűs, Annamária Láng and Béla Fesztbaum.
