The Award is presented each year to two dancers to recognise their contribution to Hungarian dance and their work as ambassadors on stages around the world.

Levente Bajári will take the main prize this year. Bajári graduated from the Hungarian School of Dance Arts in 1996, after which he joined the Hungarian National Ballet. He has won several prizes, among them the Harangozó prize (2004) and the EuroPas prize (2006). He has danced the leading roles in Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, The Tragedy of Man and The Miraculous Mandarin. Bajári showed his talents in a work he choreographed himself, called Point, with the music of Attila Gergely last year.
